Art Festival "Berlin - Tokyo" will take place within the 20-year anniversary of sister cities. On the exhibition will be shown works from 200 artists from Germany and Japan. The opening ceremony of the festival will be held in Charlottenburg Palace. During the opening ceremony of the festival there will Japanese calligraphy performances, as well as choir concert of Berlin Music School "Fanny Hensel", that will play a classical Japanese music. The festival is organized with the support of the German-Japanese Society in Berlin. The paintings from the festival will be also shown in the halls of the Metropolitan Theatre Ikebukuro in Tokyo from 20 to 23 August.
